Faith in Action: Companioning a Pregnant Teen
Our spotlight guest was 15 years old when she became pregnant. Even though she chose to nurture the life of her baby, she faced ridicule and judgment from many people. How are we called to respond to pregnant teenagers in our midst? After a child is conceived, the circumstances of the pregnancy do not change the fact that a loving response is required. What does our Catholic faith teach us about reaching out to pregnant teenagers with compassion and support?
