Modern Media and Religion
I-Pods, cell phones, the Internet, and on-demand TV…modern media occupies a lot of our time.  It   influences the way we think, feel, act, and believe.  How do we sift through the messages and discriminate between what is good and what holds the potential for harm?   Being informed about our faith helps us to be more media literate and to avoid those messages contradictory to our faith.  What can young people do to answer the U.S. Bishop’s call to “transform the mind of the media?”
