Reflection on Terrorism in the World

By John Roche

On September 11, 2001 the United States of America was attacked by terrorists. This event was unlike any other thing that this country has faced. How do we live in a world full of individuals who are constantly trying to destroy others?

Before we will be able to make a change in the hearts of other people in the world, we have to start in our own hearts. Where are areas in our own lives where we tear other people down? Cause others to think less of themselves. Destroy the self-confidence of others.

If we want to make a change, start in your own heart. Begin small. Sit with someone who is sitting alone at lunch. Compliment someone on their smile. These small gestures can make the biggest difference in someone’s life. Finally, pray. Prayer is the one thing that will truly help to stopping terrorism around the world. Pray every day for peace in our own country as well as in the world.

May God bless you this week in all that you do!
